Helium recently raised the word-count for each article to 450. Not sure that it is the latest update or not. For last 2 days, I did not post any article and before that I wrote longer articles of about 700 word-count length. Did you all notice the 450 word limit requirement? What do you think of the latest increase in length requirement for articles?

Lots of laughs at me! I didn't notice. I usually try to stay around 400-600 words. Now they want more? Maybe they should pay more. LOL I guess another 50 words isn't too bad. The point is though, that they will be increasing word count a little at a time. We will have to write a book before it's through. LOL

I hadn't realized they raised the word count on their articles. I hope they kept the usual exceptions, in recipe and creative writing otherwise there will be a lot of angry members. I am not sure how I feel about it yet. I guess I will have to see when I write something that is not marketplace related.

I joined the website just two months ago and as I know the word base is 400 words. I don't know how you get the information. However it would not affect me a lot. If I post my articles on helium it’s usually over the limit. I found if I post below 600 words I found the performance of the article would not good.
