Will you CHANGE YOUR NAME?

For as long as I can remember I've wanted to change my name. I always thought my mom got it from a character in a book. It wasn't until last month when she passed away, that her second cousin told me I was named after my mom's best friend who died when she was 8. She was so devastated from the loss of this friend that she never talked about her but honored their friendship by naming me Constance. I will always be proud of my name now for I know she put a lot into choosing it.

hello~ my friend . i'm a chinese, do you know anything about chinese name? the first word of the chinese name is last name or family name, and the words behind the family name have it's special meaning for each person~~ just take my name for example, my family name is huang,and my first name is dangwu~~ do you know CHINESE GONGFU? "wu" is another way we express GONGFU,in china, if you are good at GONGFU, it's means you are very healthy. my parents give me this name cause they want me grow up healthily~~ frankly, i don't like my name very much, but i don't want change it .cause this was given by my parents . this is the first gift they gave me in my life~ would you mind to tell me your name?

I would not change my name. I would GET RID of it. I don't need to have a name because I am not my name. And neither are you or anybody else. The name is just a label and the requirement comes from the system. So why do you want to replace a label with another one? Labels are a form of imprisonment, if you look behind the curtain.

i think i never want change my name even i will be given chance to name my self. i think it`s duty of my parents give me name, same if i have a children, it`s my duty to give my baby`s name.

Nah, I will never change my name. My name is something my parents gave me and wanted me to have for the rest of my life so that is what I am going to do. Plus my name (Adam) is a very easy and short name to write, lol.

Lol, I want your exact opposite snowdoll! I want a very common name because mine isn't common. Cylet sounds really nice, but see, we always want what we don't have! Anyways I'd like to change mine, and a common one would be great, something like Sarah, Mary, Lucy....anything COMMON!! I hava always hated having an uncommon name!

I want change my name from "carrizo douglass" to "Gabriel douglass". I don't since when i became a religious person. And i think "gabriel" is the best name for me. I want to became like an angel who can fly anywhere and always faithful with my god Where ever i go, my god will always guide me, from the darkness into the brightness.

I don't think that i would ever consider changing my name. I like the name i was born with and i would like to keep it. Now if it was a matter of life and death to change my name, then I might just have to reconsider.
