Have you experienced a dream where you wake up but cannot move or a dream where you becaome aware that you are in a dream but could not wake up or see a supernatursal being or dark shadow roaming around your bed but could not move. This are generally called nightmares. Have any of you experienced it? I have frequently experienced this and would like to hear from you. What do you think causes this? Do you think it has some supoernatural explanation to it or is more of a natural occurence?

1. nrtan2000 (1022) | 1 month ago | Hi there! Yes, I have experienced that 2 or 3 times when I was still schooling. I think you're refering to bangungot? It's not nice to experience that, it feels like you can't control yourself. It is also called sleep paralysis. I think it is caused by stress, sleep deprivation, or even sudden change of lifestyle or sleeping pattern. Anything that involves stressing yourself. I suggest you try to relax and give yourself a break. I remembered myself being so busy during that time when I have experienced that, I was stressed having night shifts of duty and I can't sleep very well in the morning. Same as the time when I'm studying for an exam, it was tiring. I guess those are few reasons behind.=)

2. oraclemv (2499) | 1 month ago | haha, yes! I hate that when I can't move or make a scream! I try so hard but no sound comes out then I wake up saying what I tried to say. I just think it's our body trying to react in life what we are doing in the dream. I don't think it's anything supernatural.

| 3. stylishious1986 (18) | 1 month ago | Well, I think it's just a matter of natural occurrence. I can say I have experienced that so many times especially when I am too tired and think of so many things. It will mix up on your mind and it'll occur as a dream or a nightmare.

4. gaiza12 (100) | 1 month ago | hmmmm..i haven't experienced this. But i think there is no supernatural explanation for it:D I think of it as a psychological occurrence.. You just need more faith in God and pray always so you wouldn't be thinking of those things. And having a Rosary is a good start.. Happy holloween;)

| werdan88 (89) | 1 month ago | uhm, just curious. in the first part, you said it was of no supernatural occurence, then on the second sentence, you state that by using a rosary I could fend off these dreams. Which is which.:)Peace.:)

gaiza12 (100) | 1 month ago | It's happy Halloween by the way.. Having a Rosary means you are starting to have trust and faith already. Since i haven't really experience that kind of dream, in my opinion there is no such supernatural explanation for it. Since you're experiencing it, well i think you just lack faith in God. I'm not saying it's not for real..i mean you have experienced it already and others might also have experienced it, it's just that i don't think it has a supernatural explanation.

5. solared (856) | 1 month ago | Some people believe you are being attacked by a succubus when they happens they are stealing your energy, more often then not you will have a erotic dream that turns into a horrible nightmare and experience this.
I'm just telling you some people believe it, you can do a google search for yourself. As far as rosaries go I personally don't believe they effect much because I'm christian not catholic, but I do believe if you feel like you are being protected then you will be.
