Did you ever wait outside a labour room?  |

 Oh! It is an experience! Waiting outside the labour room for over 24 hours for the baby to come. For me it was my daughter in law in labor. I was going to be a grandma for the first time. Having the baby in my hand was the most precious moment of my life. I felt my life was worth living.

2.  lelin1123 (4105) | 4 weeks ago |  I to had to wait in the waiting room for my daughter to give birth. She ended up having to have a C-section so that is why I couldn't be in the room. She went into labor about 12pm and didn't give birth till 11:19pm that night. That is when my precious granddaughter was born and I saw her for the first time. What a day and what a moment. I will never forget it as that is when I became a Grandma for the first time.

3.  sudiptacallingu (7064) | 4 weeks ago |  Congratulations! Its so strange really the difference of how you feel if you are inside the labour room or if you are outside. I’ve been to both sides but I sure think being inside is better than the suspense outside. I have had to wait outside for my SIL’s case…her water had broken thru and we had rushed her to the hospital. There she was stabilized but the baby was not responding well…so after a wait of what seemed like eternity, we got the very happy news of the birth of a healthy boy.
