How Do You Celebrate Halloween?   

During Halloween, our family and relatives gathers. We cook different kinds of foods like pastries and delicacies. we eat together and we go together to visit our passed love ones in the cemetery.

Halloween isn't big here in Australia & you find that in most neighborhoods, there is no trick or treating...I just moved house & when we first moved into the house we just moved from, we got caught out as all the kids in the estate go trick or treating...I had to race up the road to get lollies & we ran out!! We don't normally do it & I don't think my new neighborhood goes trck or treating as it's now 6:40 pm & no one has knocked on our door yet...I did want to take my 2 1/2 year old trick or treating but I can't find her fairy costume as I'm still unpacking...oh well

I do but, don't dress up anymore I gave that up when I was in my 20's. I pass out candy or take the youngest trick or treating ( my husband and I switch each year as to who does what).

We really don't celebrate Halloween here. It's not very traditional. Although, there are Halloween Parties and some villages have their trick or treat. Establishments decorate their own places with spooky stuff. However, personally I don't go to Halloween parties. I just let this day pass without doing something relevant to the celebration. Heheh.

I just celebrate by having a nice dinner at home and I love to watch
scary movies all night long specially if is on a weekend.

That's cool! We don't celebrate halloween that much in my country. We are more traditional. We usually lit a candle on October 31st and then go the our relatives tomb to pay a visit. It also a time for family gathering wherein we get together in the graveyard and bring food to eat altogether.

Stay home with the lights out. And we STILL got some kids ringing the door bell!

We got up early, went to the bank, went to Sam's, went by the library to recheck some audio books, and then went out to the roomie's folks.

Today was the actual date of their anniversary so we actually took our presents out today. Viv got some nice rib eyes at Sams (actually I paid for them but she got the groceries at Wal-mart last night) and I took the pillow I made out. We also took some Halloween candy to her nephew.

We ate lunch then after a bit came home and went to bed. I got up around 7 and brought in the dogs.

I don't really celebrate halloween, I have my reasons an they all aren't religious, lets just say I've had things happen the week of halloween that forever made me see it this way.

As quietly as possible. This year I took my grandaughter around town for trick-or-treating, my husband gave out candy.
We're at a stage where we'd really rather not celebrate. We're turning into grouchy old geezers!lol

Well, from a Religious stand point I do not really celebrate Halloween anymore but our Church always has a Harvest party the night of Halloween to give the kids an alternative to Trick or Treating, etc. Plus it gives the adults a chance to get together and fellowship. Last night we had ours again, and the Theme was 50s this yr. so everyone came dressed from back in the 50s and there was food and skits, and candy for the kids.
