Well, why he smells actually?

kids always answer the NO No ...if you ask everything to kids there best ans is NO....try to ask your kid.."you'll going to take a bath now, you smells bad"....

i mean dnt ask ur kids from my first response..but tell him like..:" you'll go take a bat now, you smelss bad"..

I think that sometimes boys go through that phase at that age,but if this is an on going thing perhaps you should make him have a bath or shower.Tell him that he is not going out until he has a shower as you are not going to have people call him smells.

Tell your son that he must take a bath because he stinks. If he doesn't listen, don't let him go out.

a lot of teenagers are like that,it's just laziness,that's all,he'll grow out of it

Ahh... Poor you, it must be hard to live with bad odours... Here an easy tip, you can punish him, but it sucks, it will work though. You can also try to explain to him the consequences or the best of all, the hardest for you, but the only thing that will work, in two scenarios:
1-Invite a friend of his, a girl that he likes, and ask her to tell him, as they will be playing toghether, that he smells bad. He will surely feel uncomfortable and start to wash his dirty body.
2-Wait until someone tells him and that he feels humiliated. It's not want a mother would want, but it happens all the time to children to but teased and somethimes it help them to grow better.

I have two boys and both of them went thorugh this same phase. They weren't happy campers but thy took a bath. They knew of they didn't they wouldn't be doing anything else. No TV, no video games and no sitting on my furniture if your not going to bath. If they opted to sit at the table and test me they would wear down first from boredom! Hang in there...there is light at the end of the tunnel...they do eventually grow out of it!

my sister is also like that. she always needs to have us tell her to go take a shower when she knows she doesnt have to be told. she is kinda scared of cold water that is why its nagging process for me and my parents.

Tell him if he doesn't take a bath you'll be spraying him with some feminine perfume when he goes out.

I don't know why some kids go through this phase. It can only be because it gets them attention.
