Which laptop is best - Apple, Dell, HP, Sony vaio, Lenovo?  

Hey i am a mac user. I have had 4 pcs in the past and they dont last long and easily contract viruses. I have had my mac now for 3 years and never had a problem. The speed and wireless internet is really good. I know that they are more expensive but it is worth the price you will not have to get another on for around 4 years. So my advice to you would be to purchase a mac you will not regret it. Also they are very user friendly.

I have heard people extra-happy with Sony vaio, but I've not had one myself.
I have had a Dell which was my company laptop and I loved it, it never got in trouble, never needed repair. Personally I think Dell is great. Now I have an Acer. NO WAY!!! Acer NO MORE!! It's totally a waste of money.

I've been buying HP products for over 14 years and have had no problems ever! 2- desktops, 4 printers, 1- camera, and 4 laptops! Two of my old laptops are still in use by my kids as well as one of the desktops! tdemex

I bought a DELL just recently and I really like it, it is very good. Everyone is complaning about HP, it seems that their laptops are giving problems.

I am not a big fan os macs, but that is just me, their computers are really good and safe.

All are best in their own ways.. I've heard - Dell provides powerfull laptops at affordable prices ( so more value for money.. - along with reliable quality). Apple provides a very stable OS - which makes the difference at the end of it... and Being an Apple owner is certainly different from buying any other laptop.. Apple now stands out with its battery also.. (as tests show that Apple battery charge lasts for upto 8 hours.. - whereas other equivalent laptops doesn't stay alive for more than 4 hours on battery backup - [though they claim more than 6 hours and all]... But macbook pro costs 1000$ in US.. and much more here in India..
So if you are in a situation to spend more.. go for Apple... or else - Dell.. I doesn't have much of a personal experience about the other brands mentioned above... Hope these infos help!

apple laptop i think is expensive, sony vaio is i think for me is the best and it's price is reasonable and you could choose the color of it and it is thin and very portable, my husband has it for almost two years already and it's still working like a brand new laptop.

I'm a mac user and switching to apple is one of the great decision I've ever made in my life, really never encountered any viruses so far and no freezes unlike when I was still a solid windows user. Only setback is it's quite expensive compared to it's windows counterpart with the same specs. if your on a budget and apple is not an option, go for dell, in my opinion, dell is so far the most reliable laptop out there, that's based on experience. Well this is my 4th laptop and it is an HP is a really good product, my first 3 laptops were 1 Dell, 1 Toshiba and 1 Acer, all of them were such a disaster I've been with this laptop for over 2 years now and I love it!!! So I recomend you an HP.

Well it's not really fair to compare a PC and a MAC, they are two very difference machines. If it's a MAC you want, then get one of those. If it's a PC then there're several great ones out there - however DELL is NOT one of them! HP, SONY and Lenovo are all very good machines - I would recommed HP, you'll get a lot more for your money.

if you want to go for stylish laptop then you should go for HP or Sony Vaio.... And if you want to buy as per budget than you can go for Lenovo or Dell...because you can get this laptops in very cheap range in compare of others... Personally i am using Compaq(HP) laptop..There are totally 3 hp laptops in my home... They are going well... But one similar problem i have face in all three.. All three laptop having CD-Drive problems .. ... So be careful on this one.
