Will kobe win the champion once again ？

They are one of the teams that could win the championship this year. But don't forget that the Celtics got Rasheed Wallace and they had a very good team before. Also San Antonio got Jefferson. Orlando Vince Carter and the Cavs got Shaq. So i think it is going to be tough for the lakers to win the championship, but they will get to the finals for sure.

I think Lakers should be the Best of Western, Jefferson can't do too much in San Antonion, but i alos don't think Artest can make Laker have a large improve, Ariza also [lay weel at Houston, Western is the old order, and Eastern will be more stronger, Clevend/Orlando and Boston have a more integrated lineup, when lakes play with one of these team, i think both will have the same chance to win.

Lakers is still a strong team. The EAST teams are building their players and the best teams are shifting to the EAST. Cleveland and Orlando are the EAST best and the WEST has Lakers, Spurs and Suns. If they get to another championship? yes, I think they has a chance. Teamwork and defense is the key.

I think this may be Boston's year if they can keep the big three healthy, it amazing how much they missed Garnet last season. If Cleveland don't win this season, it will be a long time coming, Lebron will be gone as soon as he become a free agent.

The Lakers lost a very important piece in their championship puzzle but got somebody better in return. Trevor Ariza was a key component for the Los Angeles Lakers 2008-09 season title but as far as skills, stats, and reputation is concerned, Ron Artest is way better. Both Ariza and Artest are terrific defenders but Artest is a more solid one and can contribute more, that's the reputation that I meant by the way. Artest is a better rebounder and a more reliable and decent shooter/scorer. His experience is way ahead than Ariza and that Artest have played and even led teams to the playoffs (Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, and Houston Rockets).

So Kobe Bryant and the Lakers for the 2009-2010 NBA title? Highly probable. Bryant is still playing at his peak and has already proven that he's a leader. Though his numbers might take a little dip especially if the Lakers core of Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum, and now Ron Artest are all healthy, Bryant's efficiency on the court will not diminish. Phil Jackson has indeed done a very great job of molding Bryant into a leader, reminiscent of Jackson's days with Michael Jordan and the Bulls. Aside from the core players, the Lakers are also getting solid contributions from Luke Walton, DJ Mbenga, Derek Fisher, and Shannon Brown, something that they really need in order to keep up with the deep teams in the NBA.

The San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks, Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Boston Celtics have all upgraded their rosters and set their eyes on that elusive title. It's gonna be tough for Bryant and the rest of the Lakers to defend their title but it's doable.
