here's some halloween fun

Ohhh, well I started a discussion yesterday about where I am going, but as you are across the pond you cannot go with me, alas. PS: My brother's cat just had the CUTEST little gray kitten!

I am here at home, after working all day. Ineed ot write some assignments but would rather write to my friends. My cat is making it a challenge as he wants on my lap or in front of the screen. I am going to be sneaky. I have just move a pole lamp nearby and I am going to beam a little artificial sunshine where I want him to move to.

I spent two hours sitting on the porch handing out candy. It was so much fun! I just love the little kids all dressed up and I love giving out dog biscuits to the canine trick or treaters, too.

I always love the look of delight on the faces of older kids between 17-22 who are walking along just enjoying the scene or possibly looking for mischief. They start to pass my house and I ask them don't they want candy? They tell me they're too old and I tell them I didn't stop begging till I was 42! They nearly always laugh and accept some candy, their smiles are genuine and happy.

I had to go out this evenining but just missed the first hour, it was great, looking forward to the next one. This evening was brilliant I went of to celebrate it and I was all dressed up in a witchey outfit, had some fun, then rushed back for MH, the hanging was scary, poor Karl. Love and hugs.

That’s funny! Thanks for sharing it! Well Halloween has now gone as it is Sunday afternoon here in Aussie land. My daughter had a Halloween school disco on Friday night; all the kids were dressed up and lots of fun was had by all. On Halloween, last night, she went trick or treating under the watchful eye of her dad and came back with a basketful of candy, chocolate and biscuits.

Last night My husband and I as well as a great friend / family member (Same person) went to another friend's house and we played a card game called Magic the Gathering, as well as playing spades. We sassed each other (don't ask, I'm not even sure!) as well.

I made it through fine, Tatty, hope u did. Had alot of cute little trick or treaters. I love seeing the little ones.

Here in our country halloween is not celebrated the way other countries do. Some groups do, but only in certain areas. The following day, (November 1)people go to cemeteries to visit their dead relatives and pray for them. Some bring food and stay their the whole day. Some also prepare native foods for the family and friends to share at home.
