Disney movies - are you ever too old? |
|
I just watched a Walt Disney movie and my husband rolled him eyes and said I'd surely be too old to watch and enjoy this kind of movies. I disagree - I don't think you are ever too old to enjoy some harmless, cute fantasy. A feel-good movie which is so far away from real life that it just makes you happy.
What do you think?

Disney movies are something the while family can enjoy and will for many years to come.

taraelocin (195) | 4 weeks ago | I guess a lot of adults love watching the films, but feel they need to watch it with a kid as an excuse. But whilst it is great for the family, they are also great for the grown up kids. Thanks!

4. mrdos910 (350) | 4 weeks ago | I have always enjoyed Disney films since I was a child, I am in my early 40's npw. I do not think you can outgrow Disney as nowadays they are putting out non-cartoony type movies. The new "A Christmas Carol" movie that is being done by Disney and is in 3-D. I have seen previews and it looks like it is well done.

8. cerebellum (141) | 4 weeks ago | For some reason, some guys think if there isn't nudity or crashes and violence it's not worth watching. I like Disney movies even some animated ones. They usually have some kind of plot and to me they are usually interesting or amusing and they give you a good feeling. I don't remember watching to many when I was a child, so maybe that's why I like them now.

| 10. newmomma05 (2) | 4 weeks ago | Oh my..I've got two little girls. Disney movies are a staple in my home. I love disney movies and I don't think you are ever too old. That's like saying your too old to laugh at a joke. I don't think there has been a day in the past 2 years that I haven't seen some type of disney movie or closely related. Even if it meant watching it over and over again. I'm a personal fan of The Little Mermaid. And anything with music in it. It's great to feel young again at any age. The truth lies in the eyes of a child and children love animated movies!:P

taraelocin (195) | 4 weeks ago | With little kids you probably don't have a choice. But that doesn't matter if you enjoy it yourself! Good point, the music is probably what makes you feel so good about the films.
