How will you feel if your best friend is at higher stage than u

Of course if the friend is our best, the rule says that we must be happy for him and appreciate him. I will ask him to do even in more better way and always encourage him as he is my best friend and friends never jealous for what we don't have. And in this situation as you described, a friend must not as the higher rank he got is not by birth bu is due to his abilities, he achieved.

for me you should nah feel jealous to your bestfriend nor compare yourself to your bestfriend coz thats only the reason you and your bestfriend may have misunderstanding then gap and that destroy your friendship...

Of course I will be happy and proud for him or her. That means that my friend has gained new heights and I should support him to be able to level up or be promoted. I will not be jealous at all. Friendship is beyond status or condition.Far more higher than achievement and there is no reason to be envious but rather help each other so that both of you will be at the top. Not crab mentality.

Best friend is bestfriend. Not an enemy or a competitor.

I have two best friends in this life and one who is becoming a best friend,and one is my wife who I love with all of my heart and soul,and if she had a higher position I would be happy for her,and it would mean more money for us,to buy things we need or want,and my other best friend is a guy who is like a brother to me,and he would do anything for me and I would do anything for him,and if he was in a higher position then I would be happy for him,because he deserves some good luck since he almost always has bad luck and he deserves to be happy,and I hope he finds the right woman,because I want to see him get marries one day.

I will always be happy for my friends that are higher up then me in anything. Thats what friends are for and thats what makes life. I know my true friends would feel the same for me with my accomplishments in life. No need to feel jealous over a great friend being higher up then yourself. Jealousy doesnt matter to me but a true friend no matter how high or low they are is the best thing to have.

of course i will feel more happy and proud, but it also depends upon friends behavior, how he treat after getting better position.

well maybe if my friend is in the same path with me maybe i will get jealous and maybe i will end up making him as my arch enemy hahaha.. fortunately my friend is in completely different field with me and mostly we don't talk about job, just small useless chit chat that make the burden lighter..:)
