Maybe you were sad,or you could have been really happy or miserable, whatever the emotion maybe and BAM!,out of the blue you hear this song and it just speaks to hwo you felt at that moment.Wow you may think someone sent in a request just for your someone has been reading your hear cause it might just be waht you need to get you out of a bind or keep you on the high you were on,but wow what perfect timing.

Could you share when you had one of these moments and what was the mood you were in and how did it make you feel after that?

Yes, I actually have experienced a lot of those moments were a song best describes what I am feeling. For example, the time, me and my boyfriend now had our first date, I was thinking that this is really a great date and I really felt happy and the song that I thought of at that time is Hands Down by Dashboard Confessional. Try to google the lyrics of this song and you will see how sweet the song is and how happy was I during that time that I considered it hands down, the best day I can ever remember. lol. wub

I have had this happen to me many times. I usually do not listen to many songs or the radio for that matter. I have listened to it sometimes though and it has songs playing on it that expresses how I was feeling at the time.

You will die if you have no musics……My friends always take this joke for me . Maybe it's right .I can't imagine my life without musics .No matter happy, sad, you can always find beautiful songs suit your feelings . Then you won't afraid of lonely, becouse you have musics, you have the one that know what you feel and what your tears for .

Yes, I do have some very favourite music for this. I love Karen Carpenter and thought that her voice was very beautiful. A lot of her words in her songs tend to resonate with me and I get a little sad when I listen to her. Everyone needs to experience a little sorrow from time to time but not to wallow in it on a regular basis obviously. I listen to Karen Carpenter when I am feeling low but then when I pick myself up I put more positive music on. Andrew

ronny, there is ALWAYS music playing in my world.. I have but to hear the title or a few lines or even words from a song and there it is Even here reading what someone writes stirs this.. .. like I just put a quarter in the juke box.. I suddenly can sing it and, especially when I am at the computer, I find it on the net and play it.. Even then if it was the theme song to a movie or sung by someone who is picture famous, I picture them as well.. what a great device the brain is! My last encounter was a post here today and the poster said 'sound of music' and it happened. Julia Andrews appeared on the mountain with outstretched arms singing, the hills are alive.. in my head of course!

The mood of course was a good one. I love it when memories come forth accompanied to music.. a delight,in fact!

yes..
The song BELIEVE BY CHER completely described my situation when i was getting over my ex..It took me 6months of non-stop listening of the song and it helped me...
I would put the song the moment i was alone anywhere to refrain myself from thinking anthing about the breakup and it helped..!! It prevented me from having bitter feelings and negative thoughts..!!

I love somantic movies and songs...the rest of ths songs mostly describe my feelings, which i never share or talk about...

ALL THE TIME! I love music and it always helps me.
A specific time would be when I was depressed.Listening to music made me see things in a better light, and I feel that music helped tremendous in my efforts of getting better. It is great you can take a song and relate it to waht you are going through.Keyshua Cole has a song called "I Remember" that made me flood tears everytime I heard it.It could not have better stated how I fwelt being involved in an abusive relationship.

I usually remember a situation that happened to me through a song. I do not know if it's a coincidence.

Music is one of my best friends. It calms me, it also rejuvenates me when I feel down (of course, it has to be an upbeat song!), it is ready to give you advise.

Ive had several moments were Ive felt like that.

One time I remember I was really depressed.. and a song by Blind Guardian called Black Chamber, lyrics are very sad.. felt in that same manner.

When I was happy at one time, I remember hearing a semi charmed kind of life. No idea how that was the same, maybe just the feeling of the song.

When I felt tuff at a given situation. I remember hearing "welcome to jamrock" by Damian Marley.

And when I was angry when I had an accident I heard "Break Stuff" from Limp Bizkit.

Yes, many of the reggae songs are that way for me. Thats why i lov reggae so much. When im down and need a pick up Bob Marley's "Possitive Vibrations" usually does it for me.
