If I was in that situation, I would do my damndest to find money somehow. I'd ask family to help out, and I'd advertise that I'll babysit. I'd probably ask family if they need me to babysit for them, and I'd ask if there's any odd jobs I could do to get a little bit of money. I'd look for employment every day even if someone says they aren't hiring. Chances are they aren't hiring but desperately need someone so if you show that you are interested and really need a job, and are dedicated, then they'll either give in, or get annoyed, but either way you don't know until you try.

I'd sell things if need be, or put any hobby or talent I had to good use. I'd do my best to not use electricity as much as possible. I'd turn lights off all the time, and I'd keep the heat off too. I'd do whatever I could, but wouldn't go so far as to harm my family.

my hubby lost his job in august and we have been struggling to make ends meet (i only work part time - 3 mornings a week and dont make that much). we have had to make drastic changes, not to our lifestyle necessarily but to bill paying.

Hi ANGEEELICA, You obviously need help right away but since I know little about your county, I can only ask questions and hope that something might help. Are there any food banks where you live? Is there a branch of the Salvation Army or other charity group? There may even be a church that operates a food or clothing bank. Does your government offer social security to those in need? What about friends and family, can they help? Hopefully a job opening will come up soon, just don't give up. Blessings.

Dont give up on the job hunt, there are jobs out there you just have to keep looking. You can also look for government help. in the mean time do all you can to keep you bills low and dont spend money on things you dont need. and dont charge up credit cards.

Wow,it is really a tuff question,no place need a employee and have children and bills,so maybe you can ask for help to the government and your husband to ease the urgent life,and try to find a suitable job for you.I think if you keep patient,there must will be a place for you.Just move on,tomorrow is another day and everthing can happen in tomorrow.

What can we do really. Pray and pray some more. Our lord will provide, Times are hard and people are struggling to get by. I truely believe faith and prayer is all we have. The Lord can open doors of oppritunity for us and help us find employment and supply our daily needs

I would do my best to keep a roof over our heads. I would cut back as much as possible. I would work on the internet as much as possible to make money on line. I would also try to sell what ever I could to make money. I would recycle if I could earn some money at it. Collect cans or what ever someone is willing to buy for scrap.
