Do you intend to buy or upgrade to Windows 7?

You may want to wait 6 months to a year, after all the hacks and problems been fixed.
Nothing in computer ever release without a hitch.

I am still using XP. I think I will wait awhile to see how windows 7 goes.

Just look at Vista, how many people upgraded to that without waiting

I too am using Windows XP but also have a Vista. Apparently Windows 7 is meant to be like XP and helps to make your computer work faster and more like an XP so am going to upgrade, also there are so many good reports about it and someone I know who deals with computers has recommended it to me too, maybe it would be a good idea for you too to upgrade...LoLo

I currently have Vista on my computer which can be nervewracking at times. I planned on installing Windows 7 when I get some extra money. Looking from the commercials I seen on tv, it looks pretty cool. But with any new OS you gonna have problems and it is never going to be perfect. That's why the developers keep coming up with updates to keep your computer from facing bad stuff.

The only time I ever upgrade my opporating system is if I ever need a new computer, and the system I started with is not available. I only upgraded to Vista when my XP laptop crapped out, and I am not going to upgrade to 7 until this one craps out. Who knows? Maybe by the time it does, Windows will have a new OS out. LOL

I had windows 7 installed on my computer as soon as it was available to buy and I love it. It is very fast compared to Vista & XP and I haven't had any problems other than it was disppointing MSN premium that I use for my email was not ready for the upgrade to Windows 7 and so will not work. I called them and they said they had their 'people' working on it and will email me when it is available. Ha! MSN Mail will not allow you to send messages, but you can receive. What a bummer that is. So I can't use the butterfly to send email and have to resort to windows live or yahoo or gmail. Those programs have no issues with the new program. Some companies are just not ready with upgrades like they should. They knew the new software was coming, but wasn't prepared. Another issue was the printer & scanner I had been using with Vista took a dump when I installed Windows 7. So, had to go to Canon's website for drivers. Other than that all is well as long as there are drivers to get. If not that means I have to buy new so that it is compatible with Windows 7.

I have been using Window XP and it looks pretty good to me. I have read the reviews of Window 7 and I understand that Window 7 is better than Window Vista, which is complicated proposition for we people. I do not intend my Window XP to upgrade to Window 7, I wish to know more opinions about it, before I could think about switching over.

I bought my pc four months ago and it was installed windows vista in advance. Though many people complained that vista is not as good as xp, I think as a system it is not that bad. Certainly it should have improved a lot on the basis of xp but it didn't. At present I don't plan to upgrade my system from vista to windows 7. I'm afraid that many functions of windows 7 are not so practical. And don't forget the fact that it's an inevitable phenomenon that there exist many problems in the new products. So I'd rather wait some time until windows 7 is fully tested by consumers.

i strongly suggest that you use windows seven. it is much better and faster than the xp and vista. it is very light and user friendly OS. i have been using it on my personal PC. I love the aero features of the windows 7. and you do not need to download a media player since it is built in already. if your hardware does not have a driver, it will look it up for you automatically and install it to make your hardware work for you. a very intelligent bot, i might say. use it and you will never want to go back to your XP, specially to your vista.
