It does hurt to come to that conclusion. Sometimes friends separate, or grow apart. Make sure in the future to not give her that money that she desires, because you don't need that in your life! Don't give up on her friendship, but don't wait around for her. Make her wait for you for once to see if she truly values your relationship.

Long distance friends are hard to have, trust me I know. But you shouldnt get yourself discouraged over non response. It sounds to me like you dont trust your friend anymore and feel like she was using you. Maybe your friend is going through some relationship problems were she is not allowed to get in contact with you. I wouldnt give up just yet.

Well, you might learn a lesson from this friend, didn't you? But wait for while, maybe there is something held her up, or you might want to try a couple more times. There are might been other reasons. But if she intentionally not return your calls. You should seek another reliable friendship.

Sounds like you need to just tell her straight up that while you love her as a friend, and are thankful for all the time that she's been your friend...that you feel like she is taking advantage of you. That's what it sounds like to me. She only calls you when she wants money or someone to hang out with and other times she just ignores you? I hate to tell you sweetie...but that isn't a true friend.

I'm sorry that your friend hasn't come thru for you. I actually have learned to not really rely on anyone for much of anything. I have a friend too that is always saying she will stop by when I happen to run into her out and about. She goes so far as to set up a date and time but never ever shows up. I don't even pay attention anymore and I don't wait home for her. I don't go out of my way to invite her over anymore. I do send her e-mails once and a while and she does respond to those. If she suddenly knocked on my door, I'd be very glad to see her but I'm not going to waste my energy feeling bad because she doesn't find her way to my door. She does live out of town and has a full time job on a shift opposite from mine and a son and a boyfriend. I don't take it to heart.

I never have such a kind of friends. If I gave her calling and message and she did not feedback immediately, I will think that he has something in trouble. In such case, I will reach her the other day just in case bothering her in her busy hours.

I did not rely on a friends. And I will not borrow money from my friends either. I have my words that do not take everything granted, particularly for your friends. Your friends did not have the oblige to serve you even though you have troubles. I have learned this a long time ago. I have never had a true friend anyway. They always did me wrong. I have two true friends now though but I do not rely on them. I rely on myself only.

Yes, I have. I had a so called 'friend' years ago that I thought was a good friend. I was mistaken. Usually women who are friends do not go out with the ex-boyfriends of their friends. Usually this is varified verbally at some point. This happened in my situation and I really never thought she would do such a thing. But one night I called her and heard some guy in the background. She lied and told me it was someone else. I drove by her house and my ex-boyfriend's car was parked out in front of her house.
