I got a call from the movie theater for an interview on Thursday. What I want to know is how should I dress for the interview?

And do you have any other good tips for the interview process???

Nice slacks and a dress shirt. Clean shoes - pay attention to those shoe strings. Be sure to press your clothes. Firm handshake and look them in the eye. There is nothing worse than a weak handshake or someone who looks away while you are trying to talk to them. Be honest don't try to be something your not. Be enthusiastic - let them know that you want to work there. Listen closely to the interviewers questions. Last point of advice - smile.

So I should dress up more formally, right? I know I shouldn't wear jeans or anything of that nature but I really don't have a lot of dressy clothes. I do have a few pieces that would work though. Thanks for the help.

I can tell you with experiane being a manager for over 9 years, the one thing that absolutely erks me is when a prospect new hire walks into an interview unshaved. To me I see a person with no self respect and a bit lazy. Please shave for your interview, dont chew gum, dont be intimidated, and dont lie. If a good manager is interviewing you, he or she can see rite through you.

Actually I don't have to worry about shaving since I'm a female, but I get what you're saying. I think a lot of it is common sense. I would never chew gum at any interview. I really don't even like gum so that wouldn't happen anyway. But thanks a lot.
