does the Lord Jesus have money when He was on earth?

Luke 16:13 (NIV) "No servant can serve 2 masters. Either he will hate the 1 & love the other, or he will be devoted to the 1 & despise the other. You can't serve both God & Money." Mat 6:19-21 (TEB) "Do not save riches for yourselves here on earth, where moths & rust destroy, & robbers break in & steal. Instead, save riches for yourselves in heaven, where moths & rust can't destroy, & robbers can't break in & steal. For your heart will always be where your riches are." There are few verses that tells them to give up all their possessions: Luke 14:33(Phi) "Only the man who says goodbye to all his possessions can be my disciple." Luke 14:33 (TEB) Concluded Jesus, "none of you can be my disciple unless he gives up everything he has." Luke 14:33 (RSV) "Whoever of you does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple." Luke 3:11 (NIV) John answered, "The man with two tunics should share with him who has none, and the one who has food should do the same." Luke 6:30 (Jer) "Give to everyone who asks you, and do not ask for your property back from the man who robs you." I think these verses have multiple purposes, not solely about the money. I believe it has to do with obedience. Then there is this verse: Luke 16:9-12 (NIV) "I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings... If you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you property of your own?" Basically tells you to be smart with your money. Luke 14:12-14 (NIV) "When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous." I don't believe money in itself is "dirty" or wrong. It's how we use it. Bible tells us not to kill, it doesn't say anything about knives or guns. Knives in the hands of cook usually is a good thing. Knives in the hands of maniac killers are another thing. sharp shooting sporting events & other sporting events like it, guns can help us become better eye to hand coordination & sharper mind. I know in bible, Jesus talks about giving up our wealth. But I also found many verses that teaches us to be more smart about our money. How "not" to be a slave to it. I believe it's how we use it!

Money in and of itself is not dirty. The Bible says the "love of money" is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10).

Jesus had money on earth because He had a treasure - Judas (John 12:3-6; John 13:29). He also told Peter where to get money to pay their taxes (Matthew 17:27).

Jesus was rich here on earth. He wants His servants to be rich on earth as well because how can you help anyone without money. You can't give to the poor and get them off the streets, you can't change the focus of the world without having some sor tof influence and the Bible says money answereth all things (Ecclesiastes 10:19).

Jesus and his disciples have the money but the thing is there is not food they can bought... this is a long time discussion i made with my mentor...

Money is answer for many problems but the love of money is not.

Money itself is neutral. Yes, it can be a danger to make you greedy and make you slide to materialism. But money also has the potential to be used for good - for building of God's Kingdom! Money is needed to build churches and places of worship. It can also used to feed the hungry and help the poor. It can sustain your family's needs. So money itself is not evil. It is just how you are going to use it.

Money is not the dirtiest thing on earth, the LOVE of money is and that love is the root of all evil. Did the Lord have money when He was on earth? He didn't have any that was claimed as "His," but He did accept help and donations from those around Him. He didn't really need it as He proved when he fed the multitudes twice, but He bound Himself by the rules of this world, so paid for things as necessary.
