We had two children together before i lost my husband to pancreatic cancer. That was three years ago. I will always cherish my memories of him and i never regret one day of being married to him.

We had an off and on relationship but then got back together when I was 19 years old and then shortly after that we were engaged and 9 months later we were married. We had our first child when I was 23 years old. We are now going to have 3 children soon. Our relationship has been rocky through the years with all the changes and things that we have gone through but I do not regret getting married.
I don't think that everyone needs to get married. Some people enjoy the single life others just enough being a couple with out the ceremony of marriage. I say that if you are happy in your life then don't rush into marriage but if marriage is what makes you and your partner content then go for it. | |

My marriage lasted for six years and then we got divorced. I am not planning on getting married again because I couldn't stand to have yet another failed marriage. I am an independent person. I love traveling and my children are important to me. The thought of being single or in a dating only relationship doesn't scare me at all.

Single people who never married once in their lives sometimes wonder did they make the wrong choice of not marrying while they were young. Sure they made their choice of not getting married in the first place because they just can't find somebody and chose not to be with just anybody. But really some of them end up lonely and most of the time, that's what scare me.
I can be independent today, but I am not sure if I can be when I am old and weak, and mind changes, people need companion.
But again, yours is different. You must be enjoying life with the options you have, thanks for sharing.
