What Do You Think of People Who Have Huge Amounts of Babies?

I agree with you.I think it is irresponsible of parents to have this many children in this day and age.Children now days are expensive and time consuming if they are well taken care of.I also agree that it isn't fair to a 15 year old child to have 6 brothers and sisters (if not more) to help raise.I also don't see how they can afford this.Child support for ONE infant is over 1000 these days.If people have 6 children and work at walmart they clearly arent making 6000 a month!Where is this money coming from???If it is coming from the government then the government should be able to limit the number of children you can have, if you cant afford it.

I agree with you. I have 2 kids and the thought of 12 or more is absolutely insane.. First of all the expense alone is crazy.. There is no way a mother and Father could raise these kids alone.. I also feel that in the long run the kids may end up resenting there parents because they never did get that individual attention that kids need.. Listen with all the fertility drugs out there I understand that there are possibilities that you will end up with multiple kids.. But if you are pregnant with 6 kids I say those six kids are enough to raise.. Unless you already have kids before them then its out of your hands..

Personally I think their nuts but if they can handle them and the kids are well cared for then I think they should have how ever many they want. Two opposite cases are the Octomom and the Duggar family.

Octomom had like 4 kids then went and had like 8 more. She's a single mom with no job already struggling to take care of the kids she had.

In the case of the Duggar family, they have 19 kids. All the kids are homeschooled, clean, healthy, the family is financially stable(with no debt) so I think their doing a great job.

I'd say Octomom is probably going to be lucky to keep her kids and raise them but the I think the Duggar family should have as many as they want as long as they can support and care for them.

You have a good point. Actually, I don't really know exactly why some people have so many babies. It's like " are you people out of your mind?" For me, raising children is more than a career and profession. We have to attend to their individual needs. Managing 3 children is already tiring, what more if it's a bunch of children? I don't know if those kind of parents are thinking about the future of their babies.

we have friends that have 9 kids and i feel sorry for the kids (although they are very well behaved) but i sort of wonder what type of one on one time the kids have with their parents. i find it hard to have one on one time sometimes with my kids and i only have 2!

if they can cope with loads of kids and support them,as in,not live off benefits,then i don't see a problem with it,and if they look after them and not palm them off on other people,i personally couldn't have loads coz i hate being pregnant,but if i liked pregnancy then i'd have at least 6 kids

Too many kids hurts everybody, parents our outnumbered and the kids end up taking care of themselves. I think that people with tons of kids exploit them too, they always want a reality show when the rest of us think they are crazy.

It all depends the reasons behind it....Is it to recieve much joy and laughter and make wonderful memories....or it to get a bigger welfare check??
Children are the best gifts you will ever recieve..we must treat them with that preciousness in our life.

If you can afford it, and raise them yourselves go for it, otherwise your burdening your loved ones, and burdening the system as in your government, because we all know how much those type of parents milk the system.
