After dancing for many years, I have a found a stronger love for myself, and I have more independence. I can trust others and make friends easily. Dancing has rewarded me with lifetime skills that I can use to cooperate well with others. Other than that, I have become more flexible and developed a sense for balance.

How have you changed through dance? What skills have you developed while dancing, with a group or just yourself? If so, how has dance changed and shaped your life?

When I was younger I was a dancer and a singer. I used to love to perform in shows. I think when you are able to perform in front of an audience who loves the performance it creates a great amount of self confidence and self esteem. Also dancing makes a body amazingly strong and flexible therefore raising confidence in every day physical abilities. I never shyed away from any physical challenge back when I was a dancer because I was strong, flexible and had an amazing amount of energy and cardivascular strength.

Hi! I like dance, but I'm bad at it! I think if you are good at something, it will develop your confidence!

I'm sure it will develop confidence.=) I myself have gained a lot of confidence over the years as a dancer.
