If you lost access to the internet would you miss it?

Oh my gosh! If I lost the internet, I don't know what I would do! I use it not only to connect with people, but also to network, blog, and learn information at a quick pace. I don't think I could go to a library and try and find out all the information, when it can be easily accessed right at my fingertips. The computer is literally the other half of my mind. In all honesty, if the internet ever shut down, the entire world would fall to pieces.

Hi Skye Blues: I know what you are talking about. We need internet those days, because everything is on the internet. You can probably come back like things were without the internet but all would be slower than with the helo of Internet. This is the key of our societies nowadays and i hope we can continue using this at least until there would be something better. Thanks for your discussion. Have a nice day.

I use the internet every day, so it would be catastrophic for me. I sell on eBay, doing listings several times a week, I use Facebook to keep in touch with people, and I'm always on Google if I have a question about anything. I enter competitions, send off for free stuff, on average I'm online around 5 hours a day! I'd be lost without it.

I definitely would. I don't have internet connection during weekends because I have to go back to the provinces and I really feel helpless during those days. It becomes a detox for me though since I won't have to think about work for a while.

But really I am useless without internet connection, it definitely has become a commodity in modern living:)

It is obvious that I will miss the life when I am surfing on the Internet.

In my opinion, I guess most people here will miss the Internet if they have lost the access someday. Everyday, I will tend to open my laptop in the morning and then begin the labor of a new day. You see, the computer and the Internet have been parts of my daily life, entertainment and work. If I have lost the access to the Internet, I may have any other chances to do but to go to bed.

Of course, I will miss myLot and all friends here if I lose access to myLot someday.

I know what it is like, to lose internet connection, when I had my last apartment I lost my internet connection, and I was total lost, I had to keep going to the library to use the internet, and I really got tired of that, then when I lost my apartment, I moved in with my sister, and she has internet connect, I was really glad to be back on the internet, because I really wanted to Mylot.

IF I lost my internet, i would be miserable, it would be difficult for me to do a lot of things. I just hope it does not happen. It would be like going back to more than 10 years ago. Scary

Definitely I will miss the internet. The internet makes my life so different than not having it. I'm an information junkie and the only instant source of anything I want to know is the net. Aside from the information I got to learn from using it, It somehow keeps me connected to my friends and relatives who are far from me.

The same goes with me. I think I am already too dependent on the Internet. When I don't have internet for just two days, I am already so bored. I feel my day is incomplete without logging into the internet. I usually spend at least two hours a day on the internet. I use Google when I want to research on something like places, roads, restaurants, etc. I also like using the internet to do some online shopping. Lastly, I use the internet to chat with friends.

It would change my whole life if I lost the internet. Not only do I make a living on it, I use it constantly for everything from listening to music and sermons, etc., to looking up so many things. However.... I'd get a lot more things done around the house!
