This is bad, I know!!!

On the 2nd of November we were walking around Sainsbury and my husband saw 2 packs of Rib Eye Steak which he fancied were dated for the 3rd November, which was the day just ended here.
They were really expensive and he didnt buy them, and I thought nothing more about it.

We had to go to the shops tonight and I thought that we were going to Tesco.
But he drove down to Sainsbury.
Got out of the car, grabbed a trolley and headed straight for the beef aisle.
I saw him raking about and then he emerged triumphant with 2 packs of rib eye steaks in his hand

Cheeky bugger had hidden them at the back of the shelf the night before and stacked up the newer stock infront of them, knowing if the ones dated 3/11 were still there he would get them at a knock down price because they always reduce them as they reach sale by date.

Anyway, 20 quids worth of Sainsbury Taste the Differnce Rib Eye Steaks he spots the manager of the section and tells him these 2 packs had been missed and would he reduce them.

The guy agreed and said 50 pence a pack, My husband countered 30 and eventually they agreed omn 35 pence per pack

70 pence instead of 20 quid, lol

As he said, if the person on the nightshift did the job properly, they wouldnt have still been there, as they would have been taken down and reduced to half price straight away,

We had a pack tonight, they were so gooood, and I suspect tasted better because of the little money we exchanged for them

He also found an extra matured sirloin which he got for 30 pence, so it was a great trip to the shops,
Even if it wasnt Tesco, but Every Little Helps!!!


Thats nothing though, one night we were in ASDA, and a Chinese guy found a whole roll of 10 pence reduced price stickers, and he lifted all the beef and pork and chicken and lamb from the shelves and stuck 10 pence stickers on the lot
He had 37 items in his trolley costing him 3.70. He took great delight telling everyone in the car park about it as he tried to sell it.
Only thing was he tried to sell it to an ASDA staff member and he got knicked!!! lol
