Have you ever tried to fix something that was broke?

I have broke something that I absolutely loved and I tried to glue it back together. I tried to and it turned out to be a disaster. I was crushed it was a a cat I had painted. It was so pretty in every way. I did an excellent job on painting it. I hated to throw it away. I had work so hard on it. I even took a couple hours putting it back together and it did me no good. all I can say it was the best I could do for how many peices it was in.

i have broken lots of things before and tried to fix it... some things i was able to save and fix and others didn't do so well... but at least i tried to fix them before just throwing them away. i enjoy trying to fix things tho so i always kind of found it entertaining to try and fix it. i didn't really like it (because it was broken) but i enjoy they trying to fix it part and was very happy if i was able to fix it. especially if it was something i really liked or loved and used regularly happy

I am at it all the time. I have this cuckoo clock which I have been tampering with and it always yielded the desired results. But suddenly it started chiming at wrong times and so I got to tampering with it once again hoping I would be able to set it right but this time I goofed. A part inside is broken. It gives correct time now but never chimes.

I too broke so many things but I only try to fix things that I can fix and the rest goes into the dustbin.... whistle
