My daughter is amazing..........................................................

What a wonderful happy ending to a story!
I have a wonderful daughter also, well actually 2, but I am only talking about my oldest right now.
She is 17. At the age of 14 she was molested by a so-called family friend. We did everything the way we were supposed to. Reported it to authorities, collected evidence (including proper DNA), refused a plea agreement, (he did not confess). Ultimately my daughter at the time only 16 years of age, went to court up against a horrible defense attorney and was ran through the muck for 2 solid days of trial.
Mind you this man (and his family) are respected people in our community and many people fear them.
She had no fear! End result was he got off. Yes, he was aquitted, even with proper DNA evidence and all evidence in our favor. God only knows what the jury was thinking. And goes to show you what $35,000 can buy you in a defense attorney.
Long story short, a year later, she is now a volunteer at a local pro-life center for teen mothers. She counsels and mentors them. She has spoken at church youth conferences and has a huge ministry ahead of her.
Her strength is amazing. Yes, there were many tough times before now, but she is an overcomer and most certainly my HERO!

What a good mom you are to be there, even when you had your doubts. My son, who I never dreamed would have troubles, has had some this year, and they are not over, but I know he is a terrific person. I think we can be really blessed by our kids and their life journeys.

All my kids a special youngest son was treated for manic deprsant but I guess he out grew it or something have heard no more about it.
I has been a machnic since he was nine naturally came to him till last Dec. when he had to have his back operated on he worked at this an dmade prtetty good for state he lives in. Now the Company let him go and he dont know what to do with himself for it was his life never really wanted to do any thing else hard for him to find just what he does want to do.
Now him and Wife is partners in a transmission shop but things are really slowwwwwww right now just keeping abouve water month to month on it just hopin gthey dont have to shut down!
Now my daughter has always been with me and hubby.
except one year when her x movedd her to No Caroline we had to go get her finally since then she stayed with us her and her 2nd hubby we are buyng the house together.
and I now have a 5 yrear old grand daughter that my daughter had before her clock run down lol.
I have herad her tell people I am her best friend makes me proud!

No but I always dreamed of a momma who would face up to her faults and love me for who I am, forgiving on both sides.........................

i don't have a child yet at the moment... but i do know that when i have one in the future, he/she will be very special to me regardless of whatever conditions he/she has... a child is a blessing from God and i will be ecstatic when God will trust me to raise a child in the future... kudos to you... you had been such a supportive and wonderful mum and you have a beautiful and amazing daughter too... take care and have a nice day...

Good for you, what a wonderful story. Does your daughter know how proud you are of her? I wish you all the best and also for these feelings that you are having to last a lietime. I have a 30 year old son that is not making me very proud of him right now. I hope that sometime soon that I can be proud of him again. Its a nice feeling when your kids make you proud. its sad when your kids don't do right and don't make you proud.

I think that there is a time when we all worry about our children and what will become of them. I do. This world today is not such a welcoming place. I would love to pile gold coins in front of mine too. I am so happy for you that your daughter has turned out so well and I hope the same for mine too. Congrats! You have a right to be very proud.

I can see how good mother you are.I have a daughter too and i can feel your concern.I did everything for her.I want to make her happy and like you i wish i was able to gave her all she wanted.I was not a perfect daughter.I had done things that against their will.When i became a mom, i realized the mistakes that i had done.And i tried my daughter not to go the wrong path.I,ve been praying that she will never experience the things that i had.Your daughter is very lucky your still their for her.When i was 38 i never had parents anymore.They passed away when i was in my middle 20s.I know how hard to be without parents at all.So i always pray that i will have a longer life to spend with my family.I wish your daughter good health and happiness.You are such a good mom!
