Why are PTC more popular than PTR?

A while ago hefore ptcs stated becoming very popular, there was PTR meaning paid to read emails. I have noticed these days especially on my lot people only talk of PTC. I believe ptc are a lot easier that ptrs and pay faster and are have a lower rate of scams. I used to do ptrs but i have earned better on ptc. What about you what is your opinion
