Parents responsibility on their kids........

Yes I agree with this opinion, provides the freedom for children to train the child to learn about the true meaning of life. By giving freedom to the child, the child will learn about the meaning of responsibility

i give my kids more freedom than my mum gave me,and i think it's made them a lot more streetwise and able to handle things better in the outside world,i don't believe in kids being wrapped up in cotton wool and protected from what MIGHT happen

yes,i believe in you. i was raised in a conservative and very protective parents so i can't get along well with strangers or other people who are older than me. so i give freedom to my kids but not to the extent of letting them go wherever they would want to, because i heard a lot of news about children getting drowned lakes and even in big canals, some are being hit by a truck..i don't want that to happen to my kids so there's still limitations..

we should give freedom to kids. But it should have limit. More freedom leads to trouble for even socialized parents. Parents should have some control on their kids

Kids should be given freedom so that they can see the world for themselves and gather experience in life. I am just a student and am not planning to become a parent in the near future . But I would say that as time passes on, parents should let their kids get on with their life themselves. It is very difficult to face the world when you have been tied down by your parents.
I know the problems when freedom is not given to a child. I have been a victim of this. My parents are great but they always thought that I could not look after myself. What it does is that, it hurts the self-confidence of the child. It also makes him frustrated and angry. I went through all those phases in my childhood. I have grown out of all this but still feel the side effects of being tied down in my initial years.

I agree with you that we should give more freedom to the kids and at the same time we should monitor that this freedom is not misused by them. I know many parents, who gave the children more freedom with whatever they ask and they became the habitual addicts and anti-socials. Sp it is very important to monitor how they are using the freedom.

kids are our future and parenting is one of the well-researched area in the entire filed of the social science. most of parents( including me)want to rise successful children. so its a fact that parent's need to learn about good parenting knowledge and skill to make our kids healthy, smiley and successful. freedom or independence is a part of human nature, so giving freedom to kids become the necessity to improve their creativity,potential and innate skills. i believe freedom might boost morale and inspire them to achieve something big.

but i can't agree to give a car to driven by kids on the rush road. as like as i don't prefer to give them much freedom, when they are really kids.i like encouraging freedom and spread freedom slowly and day by day. cause, to me kids are still kids, their brain are not enough developed and they can make very bad decision at any time. before encouraging highest amount of freedom to kids, i like to give them some free space with little limit until s/he learn how to protect themselves, how to judge situation, whats wrong or right, whats to do-whats not to do. then they can grow up safe with confident.

finally i like keep observing and assessing their progress in the timely manner, and give them full freedom to choose career,destination, future as well.hit the best mark, if you think I'm best responder. lol

i think you are correct to some extent. My husband gives more freedom to our sons for which every day I used to fight with him accusing him of pampering our children which leads to their destruction and making them brats but he argues that being more strict with the children makes them to do inappropriate things that too behind our back. So we should always be open and behave like friends with the children for which i disagree. Now our children are grown up and brings laurels to our family by socializing with others, good natured,and i can able to see their future very good and broad.
