Aides: Obama not watching election returns.
Washington (CNN) – President Obama is not planning to watch Tuesday nights election returns, Obama aides Robert Gibbs and David Axelrod tell CNN.
Obama is more likely to watch Tuesday night's Chicago Bulls game than any political coverage, according to Axelrod.
The president's senior staff have also decided not to hold a watch party to keep an eye on election returns as they come in.
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was spotted in workout clothes leaving the White House campus at 7 p.m. ET, just as polls were closing in Virginia. Axelrod told CNN he has a dinner outside the White House to attend.

2.  Rollo1 (1621) | 2 months ago |  Saying he's not interested is his way of pretending that the results of the election are not significant. He knows which way the tide is turning and he wanted to avoid looking like he is taking the shift to conservatism as being a referendum on his presidency.
Unless the White House releases the television logs of the First Family's viewing habits, those who believe every word that proceeds from the mouth of Obama will believe that the results of the elections were meaningless. In fact, they've already started making excuses for why the Democratic candidates lost and asserting it has nothing to do with Obama. Dream on, I ssy.

So there's nothing between watching the returns on TV, most of which is just spin by the commentators which DOES vary depending on what channel you watch, with an update on the results every 15 minutes or so, and not being interested? In MY opinion, which I know is totally worthless to you...lol!, gubernatorial races are rarely a referendum on the President at any given time but on the "state of the state" in question. I guess if you don't believe me, just ask the vast majority of those who voted in New Jersey and Virginia yesterday!
Exactly what "shift to conservatism" are you referring to? One of the most conservative districts in the northeast, if not the nation, elected its first Democrat to the House in 150 years and that was after the most conservative politicians in the country managed to drive out the GOP candidate in favor of the Conservative Party candidate who doesn't even live within the district. The Republicans who won in NJ and Virginia ran as moderates.

This man feels he is above having to watch elections or any other thing that may faze the rest of the world. This man that the US people elected only cares about what he can get out of the country not what he can do for the country.
Obama has taken his family around the world at the expense of the American people. He has rubbed our noses in his Muslem faith. He is giving our money over to waring Muslem nations that we have been at odds with for years.
Obama just talks the talk he doesn't feel he needs to walk the walk. He is just one of those people who can fall into dog doo doo and come up smelling like a rose.

As is also so often the case with you, President Obama couldn't win for losing in this situation! YOU tell ME, what would you have said if it had been announced that there would indeed be a "watch party" to keep an eye on the returns as they came in? I can see it now!! "He's running scared!" would probably be something you'd say, right?
