my uncle says that swiming is a good exercise and he tells me to swim everyday. do you think that swiming serves as exercise also? but i dont think so because my uncle swims regularly and he is too fatty so how can it be a good exercise?

And about fat on your uncle body is reason of their habit of taking more more food and this fat is not remove in 1-2 months .

As you have knew that the swimming is one of the best exercise and also it would gives the best movements to each and every muscles in the body, that is the reasons all the medical professional would advised us to go for the swimming as much as possible, in order to have the good health as well as healthy life styles. Sometimes people who excercise regularly are still fat. There could be a number of reasons for it. If a person is diabetic it is very hard to loose weight. Other people "eat" away the benefits of their excercise. For instance if your uncle gets very hungry after his swim he may eat a large meal or snack and poof there goes the benefit of his workout.

I also was fat when I used to swim and see I was even having competitions and used to do about 70 laps (olimpic pool) per day. It's just a tale that cardio burns fat, it doesn't.
