I've just checked you out. I cannot believe that you live in Abingdon! I have family there. Is this Abingdon, North Hants where they have the famous Cross in the middle of town and there is a pub besides the cross?

It is the the one by the Cross. My elderly cousin David was there every day at opening time. His wife's name was Flo. I have to think of his address and then you would know exactly where he lived. He died a couple of years ago. Thdey knew him well in teh pub.Every time I went to the U.K. I would go and see him. We took them to lunch at this wonderful old pub and had a great time.

Hi cynthiann, now Irish, if you steer along here after the UK then we'll need to turn North West to meet our Romanian friends ( is it true then that European geography is not well known over the pond?).

@hair. I did appreciate the joke. I was going home - not to bed. We do not have wireless at home only a modem thingy that has to be plugged into te side of a laptop and it is usually in use. I use my BB but can only read Mylot am not able to response and this is frustrating. However, I will stop because I am becoming garrulous and I have work to attend to: Goes off outside to check on sea - ah yes, it is still there . No one has stolen it. Not like the beach.
