I'm buying an affordable laptop with high specifications. Which brand is better?

Yes, Acer is a good choice. I am now using my new laptop I bought lately and it works very fine with no problem as far as functionality is concerned. I am not a computer savvy person but I think that I don't regret buying an Acer brand. I am satisfied with its performance. I hope that you can ask someone you can trust to accompany you and buy a laptop for you.

Based on the knowledge I have, local brands are a lot better. Considering the performance and the price. I say you could get the most of your money by buying an MSI or a NEO laptop. One thing that's best with this laptops is that, whenever you get in trouble with it, lots of service centers are widely available here in the Philippines.

I recommend to use Dell, Lenovo or HP. Keep it up! For sure you already reach $1000 already!

You can buy Acer brand computer. it's comparatively cheap.

Hi ressssaaa, Acer is the practical choice, I think it's one of the cheapest available out there considering it's high specs, It's wise choice and acer is not that bad either, I have some friends who has acer laptops and netbooks and I never heard them complaining yet. But just incase, you might also consider gateway and compaq if you're really on a budget. Or maybe you might consider adding some more and just go for the macbook white, that's just a little over 50T pesos (999USD online). It might cost you a little more but you will never regret it, I guarantee you.
