I was a long-haul truck driver for many years and I have been nearly everywhere. I have been to 47 states. I never made it to North Dakota. I went to South Dakota many times and I could not see a need for another Dakota, but they told me there is one. The places I most liked to drive across are the western deserts. Some drivers called the scenery "boring" but I never found it so. "I've been from Tucson to Tucumcari; Tehachapi to Joan of Arc".

I live in Europe and I have visited the USA three in my lifetime so far. I visited California: Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz and San Francisco. I went to Hawaii, the island that has Honolulu Airport on it. I saw the North Shore, Waikiki Beach and Pearl Harbor. I was on my way around the world and to plus from New Zealand. You seem to have been able to see a lot of the USA so that is great. Happy traveling.

Hi, trruk1! I am the wife of a long haul truck driver, and i have been out with him a few times. I have been to several states and places that i probably would never have gotten to travel. We live in the south, and i had always wanted to see parts of New York, and i did get to travel there with my husband. The scenery never gets boring to me, and all the different things you can see, it is great. We have even been to the same places several times, but things change, and so does the scenery. I would say i have seen half of the United States. Hope to be able to see more, from the cab of the truck
