Where are you going to spend your "Thanksgiving Day"?

would like to go to Europe for thanksgiving but it looks like this year I will be staying home for the holidays.

I shall be at home cooking dinner, the same as every year since I met my wife (seven years now for this one). With my first wife I used to go to her parents house for the family get together but now it is stay at home:)

My Thanksgiving Day will be spent at my mothers. I go there every year for Thanksgiving. My brothers and sister and their families will be there also. We all contribute food and time to preparing the family Thanksgiving feast. We all look forward to this time together. I am am thankful to be able to have this kind of closeness with my family not only at Thanksgiving but the whole year through.

Last year i spent thanksgiving out on the ocean deep sea fishing... we were out there all day till it was very dark. it wasnt that much fun...

this year i am hoping to spend it with my hubbys family like we usually do. get all his family together and everyone brings a dish and spend the whole day catching up and enjoying the food.

I will probably go out someplace IF I have the money. My daugher, grand daughter and grandson will probably go to my daughter's boyfriends family for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Why am I not going with them? Haven't been asked! Not sure why. I really don't care a whole lot. It is nice to have time to myself even on the holiday.

I honestly don't know yet.

The tough part is that I will have to work that day.

I don't know what my brother wants to do with mom.

I am sure that I will end the day at my roomie's folks.

I will go visit my mom during the day then go home about 2 or 3 in the afternoon and take my sleep, wake up about 9pm and go to the gym. I do not travel. My mom lives about 8 miles away and the gym is only 6 miles away.

We usually celebrate Thanksgiving Day by first going to church for our Thanksgiving Worship Service. Then, after that, the family gets together in one place, either at home or outdoors, to spend some time together for bonding.
