Verizon's new early termination fee...

I also heard about this yesterday. What the local news in my area stated is that it is for all customers. That people wishing to upgrade their phones prior to the end of their service contract could be subject to stiff penlties.

Yes I think it is wrong, I owe Verizon for a old bill, and my bill was $400 dollars, so I will pay that off, and I won't be using, their services ever again, if Verzion keep this up, they will put their own selves, out of business because people are not going to use their services, then what are they going to do, Verizon is just getting greedy like some of these other companies, they want more and more money, too much greed can hurt you.

I think that what Verizon is doing is outrageous. I am with Verizon too, but if they keep this up, I am certainly not going to stay with them, that is for sure. In other words from what I am gathering, is that if a customer wants to upgrade their phone to a better one, and their contract isn't up, they will have to pay penalties? Please correct me if I am worng, but I sure don't think that is fair. I upgrde my phone every year, but it looks now, like I will have to forego doing that at all. I don't understand all this, as they will lose customers, and not keep them by doing what they are doing. If they want new customers. then they need to give better customer service. They will lose a lot of customers that is for sure, and I may end up being one of them. Take care, and happy mylotting.
