Facebook friends, how many? Do you add/approve strangers?  |

 I've got 126 friends as of the moment but I really know all of them. I don't add or approve people who I don't know.
Facebook is an online social site and sometimes, it's unavoidable that some people you don't know would just add and send you a request to be their friend. Add to that Facebook's features of applications, it makes the probably of being added by someone you really don't know much higher.
How many friends do you have on Facebook? Are they your real friends/acquaintances? Do you add or approve friend requests from people you don't know personally?

For me if you want your facebook to be a personal social site,there is no point in adding strangers in your list because you'll just end up cluttering your update feeds which is so messy. You might also miss important updates from the one's dear to you. I think if you really want to add or meet strangers on your list you should also consider using Twitter, which is also cool though.

For me I don't accept anyone that I don't know. For me I don't like the idea of doing so. Accepting strangers online can lead to dangerous situations and I would rather not go into one, plus it is sort of creepy when someone randomly adds you no matter what the reason is. Yes facebook is a social networking site, but that doesn't mean its a site to meet people, its a site for me to contact the people I meet off the net.

4.  lakerfanster (396) | 4 weeks ago |  At the moment I have 299 friends of Facebook and most of them are people I went to school with, are friends with anyway or have worked with. The rest are made up of musicians and sports stars who I like to keep updated with. I also have a few friends from Facebook groups who I have added or they have added me because we love the same musical artist or whatever it may be.
As for friend requests I am really not as picky as some and will usually accept friend requests from people I don't know personally, I will have a look at their profile to see if they have anything in common and if they do I will accept the request. The times when I don't accept a friend request are when someone are when they have nothing in common with me from their profile or they don't have much on their profile that one bad photo and a couple of details.

i only add people i know... i dont like others having access to my infomation... although i know people can get all kinda of info off the internet now but i dont like to think about that...
the people who want to add u as a friend just for the games aren't worth it... juat to make them get more out of the games...

For instance if you have personal stuff like meeting friends and you had said an address you could make it so that content was only viewable by your friends. | |
