i hope his spikes grow back, but he is one lucky little fella, he could have died out there, bless him....

i felt so sorry for this little soul, he is sweet isn't he? i hope his spikes will grow though, he is a lucky little fella that someone found him when they did he could have died....i love stories with a happy ending....it warms my heart....

lol, the name comes from a character who is in blackadder, nothing like a hedgehod to be honest but the name suits...i get hedgehogs in my garden alot, i have a video of one somewhere i must dig it out and post it in here, yes he is a lucky little fella, i am so glad that he was found before another wild animal got him, or he died of the cold....he is a sweetie isnt he?

oh i love hedgehogs, i get them here alot, i think i posted a short video of hedgy the hedgehog when i was tattylashes, i am so sure i did, they are just adorable....i hope he grows his spikes back...

my mom had a next door neighbor who had one as a pet, I got to pet it once, it was so CUTE!

We don't have hedgehogs here, armadillos, opossums, but no hedgies.

well, they would probably become a pest here quite quickly if they were turned lose, because they aren't native so I hope those with them as pets keep them at home

he is isn't he? i hope he gets his spikes back, they should be out in the wild and not kept as pets, i love hedgehogs but i think they belong outside,

porcupines have quills, they can be fired from the body and they can be pretty painful if they pierce the skin, a hedgehog has similarities, but they have spikes instead quills, porcupines have very long quills whereas the hedgehog has short spikes, plus a hedgehog doesn't fire them if they feel threatened, but you can get a nasty jab if you catch your finger on a hedgehog, i love all animals too and i am so glad that little baldrick got saved before the freezing weather came, he is a sweet little thing even without spikes...

i am so happy that someone found him before it was too late, other wild animals could have got him and killed him, i am not sure if his spikes will grow, but who knows, the people who are taking care of him, will make sure he's just fine, he is a sweet little thing isn't he? if you get pricked by a hedgehog it can hurt, but i have not been spiked by one yet, and i hope it doesn't happen either.

it is lovely to see the better side of people isn't it, someone who really cares, that little fella could have been run over, or eaten by another animal, so i am happy tha some kind person took him and got help for him, i am sure he's a happy little hedgehog now...i love happy endings....
