If you were a parent, or grandparent, how would you teach or control your children? Guiding them to the right path... Good luck with your children! :D

Hello Crystal. Some people think discipline and punishment are the same thing, but they aren't. Discipline is more related to "teaching." And the best way to discipline a child is with love and example. :)

As a mother I always wanted to give my daughter the kind of discipline that will hone her character as a good person and refined woman but never naive.Though I believe there are variety of ways to discipline an every child for they possess a unique kind of personality. So discipline is a matter of learning process also for the parents.

when my kids were little, I disciplined them with love, I respected them as children, we lost our little girl when she was eight, I used time outs, standing in the corner, and taking away privledges but my son was actually a pretty well behaved child. I never did spank them, a swat on the seat but not a spanking as I do not believe violent spanking and beating does any thing good for a child.respect a child as a young human being then when they are older they will respect you as their parents.
