india vs australia: do you think that india has no great finisher?

Well there are some good finisher but in yesterday's match they didn't perform well.
Harbhajan Singh is quite a good batsman too but yesterday he can't score well.
But i think there must be good all-rounder placed in the finishing order.

Indian cricket team sucks big time!

I guess this discussion topic is started after the 5th one day intenational match heald at Hyderabad. We have seen many of the Indian matches finishing well and our team do have good match finishers. It was a splendid effort by Sachin, truly a genious knock. But the way and at the time he got out was unfortunate. But still match could have been won if the tailenders did not play the fool game. According to me Sachin, Yuvraj, Shewag and Dhoni are the matchwinners in our team, but you cannot ingnore others as well. Cricket is after all a team game and I would like everybody perform to win rather than depending up on a single person. What is your opinion?

yes you are right there is no good finisher in Indian team after making 300+ India lost the game by just 3 runs in last game.India all out for 347, you can imagine how poor are our tail lenders.they can not make few runs.sachin made 175 otherwise we lost the game quite earlier even under 200 runs.i think Irfan and yousuf pathan are good finishers and both can bowl too.yousuf is not in form but irfan plays good innings when he get chance to bat.
we need good finisher like brett lee,he is a good finisher as we saw in the champions trophy final match where he made 48 run for 31 or 32 ball.i remember he also took match away from Indai 2 0r 3 years ago when batsman got and he played and in last over he hit six and Australia win the game.

I don't think that India doesn't has a finishing player,Yuvraj Singh is the best example of being a finisher.He has made us win lots of matches single handedly with his superb knocks many a times.Other player that can be counted as a good finisher would be Suresh Raina,it was bad luck that he got out at the crucial moment in the 5th one day.Yuvraj Singh on his day can wreak havoc in the opposite side as he has shown in many 20-20 internationals,but we need more such players that can finish the match just like Australia has Mike Hussey and Michael Clarke who are brilliant finishers of the game.
