What can you say about those people who have "braces"??

Well, I actually wore them too when I was a teenager lol. I think it's good to wear them to make your teeth look better and neat. It's a little uncomfortable, to be honest, but then again, beauty is a pain lol.

I wore braces on my teeth for a period of time, too. There are two reasons to put braces on a child's teeth to straighten them. Yes, straight teeth look better but it's also healthier for them to be straight and evenly separated. Your teeth need to be brushed and flossed in between, with regular cleanings by the dentist, if you want to keep them for a lifetime.

I think it's normal...it is being used by people who wants to have a nice set of teeth..a corrective.
I never had experience wearing one....i am proud and lucky to have a good set of teeth...

Some people wear braces to make their teeth look straight when they are older. When I was at secondary school many people had to wear braces. It was just something they had to do and it didn't bother me. I did have to wear reading glasses and so I didn't like being teased for wearing them. I wear contact lenses these days. I was grateful that I didn't have to wear braces and I was understanding to those that did that did have to wear them. In life everything has a reason and kindness counts. I respect other people's differences. It would be boring if we all looked the same.

Hi joannaleed.Well I was lucky that I did not have to wear those braces.And surprisingly none of my friends at school wore it.But I have known people who wore them.It kind of looks weird but I do no think it is nice to make fun of people wearing them.By the way do you get all the ideas for your discussion when you go to mall??Anyways have a nice day..

what should i say? i don't know of nothing in particular.

I never had to wear braces but I know some people who wore them. I do not see why others would make fun of the kids that have to wear braces. They are trying to straighten they teeth and have good teeth when they become an adults there is nothing wrong with having to wear braces on your teeth.

I don't find braces unusual. They're just another accessory. My brother is wearing them now and I don't really see any problem other than the occasions where he feels pain and the insides of his mouth gets sores from it.

People can be really mean sometimes. I can't say from experience because I didnt have to wear them.

The irony of it is that I have always considered persons with braces as cute .This is in contrast with most people at the stime who think that barces was for loosers or nerds and I have now seen where people are actually wearing braces for fashion .In fact I believe that what the rappers are nwo wearing as "grills" are an evolved form of braces but then what do I know lol

I too was stuck with braces in high school. Not only did I have to wear braces, I had to have my jaw broken and moved forward in the summer between my sophmore and junior year. Talk about a pain. No solid food, no talking (try taking Spanish class and not being able to talk!) for 3 months. Ruined summer and ruined fall, I would have rather just wore braces. I feel for anyone that I see with braces. I remember the sticking of the wires.
