Can we get high speed Internet from 3G Network??

Hi, practically 3G is faster than 2G so it is better if you'll use the 3G network. Whenever I'm outdoors I use an internet connection powered by a 3G network, and I think the service I get from it is really fair enough. The downside is you'll get interrupted at times when there are problems with your signal. And also if too many subscribers utilizes the 3G connection expect for slow connections because everyone within your area shares a certain bandwith.

3g is actually pretty high-speed. Most of the phone companies here use 3g. Some of the companies are pushing 4g. 3g is kind of the standard at the moment. 4g is supposedly coming soon. To finally answer you questions yes you will get more speed.

3G, or third-generation wireless technology intend to offer a wide range of services and greater efficiency than previous standards. Theoretically speaking, we can get high speed Internet from 3G Network, but in my country, I have never enjoyed such a high speed Internet.

At least until now, the speed is so slow that I tend to give up using it any longer. Perhaps it is still in its youth, as the technology is becoming mature, I think then you can get more speed using it.

Here in Turkey we are using 3G for about a couple of months. Believe me, our life didn't change as it was advirtised:)
What 3G offers most is freedom to connect to the internet. Speed varies according to your location. It totally depends:
a- provider's network choice (means cost)
b- provider's network weight (too many users: less speed)
c- provider's choice of equipment in your area (your base station).
In here the biggest provider has the speediest 3G where ever I used it (up to 4gbit/s). The ones with less customers just top 2gbit/s speeds. Since there's not a huge customer demand for 3g internet, I can surf with max speeds when I'm sticked to my 3g laptop.

I don't know your country's rates but in here they sell it in packages like 100mb, 500mb, 1gb and 4gb packages and called as data packages.

Yes. 3G can provide internet connection speed that is faster than 2G and dial-ups. But the actual speed one gets still depends on a few factors, the most significant would be the signal quality. However, browsing on my phone, I can't say that the speed improvement from 2G is that great. It is in downloads that I appreciate 3G speed. And when I use my phone as a modem and browse on my computer. It's a whole lot faster than a dial-up.

3g is 10x faster or even more, all you need is a change your modem phone to a 3g capable phone, but you still need to check with your ISP if 3g is available in your area, 3g has a shorter range compare to 2g.

An uninterrupted 3G signal will give you a fast speed. I got a speed of 1mb or even 1.2mb at times. But its signal can be easily interrupted. Trees, tall buildings, or weather can interrupt the signal of 3G and makes the internet speed slow, unreliable and worst you can't use it.
