Bob Marley!! The revolution Still going on,,,  

I live in Jamaica and met Bob Marley in 1974. Bob did not grow up in a racist society but a society that still contains social disparities. One of his many reasons for success was that despite being a wonderful musician, he recorded his albums in two ways. The first way was that he spoke patois for the Jamaican people but he would also record and sing his songs in standard English for the world market. He was one smart man.

The Rastafarian religion existed long before Bob and the true Rastafarian is a very peace loving person. Bob was not a racist in any way and loved mankind. May he rest in peace.

Mahatma Gandhi had a hard time in London, too, but he wore his homespun there and the weather was wintery. I suppose London feels fine if one is wearing a fur coat, but I prefer to live where it is warm and where people are colorblind.
