Is Swimming an exercise hobby or fashion?

When I have swimming lesson before I lose weight and I think swimming is a good exercise. To other people they like to wear bikinis while swimming because they have a body to show. I think it is not fashion it depends how you think it because I'm don't have a courage to wear bikinis because I don't have a great body to show up.

You statement is right but now it is not in this boundary. Bikini has crossed the bounday. Now bikini come out from the beach and swimming pool entered into our drawing room. Some day later you will not be astonished to see some girl in a mal with jeans and bikini top or any woman in saree and bikini top with out any blouse. We now feel ashamed here to talk on this matter but this fashion is waiting for us . Do you think ever about this?

I never thought about that at this point in time because here in our country -- we use two-piece bikini or one-piece in the beach or pool especially during summer and if ever your anticipation about women wearing this anywhere and anytime will happen-- i don't see any problem as long as they carry it with grace and it will be a fashion statement it's their call. Anybody can wear it and i will respect them for that but i will never do that for myself in places other than beach or pool.

...well as far as i am concerned it's not an issue to me as long as the person who's in that situation is happy and comfortable in what she's doing without hurting other people-- fine with me. There is evolution as far as nudity... in bikini or whatever- it depends on the purpose of whose doing it and whose into it.

I think this particular dress is misused to gather baseless popularity.

Because teenage are more curious to the unseen part of the body of woman. And so are doing that as there business. So as the people are not worried with this culture what needs of me to put my head.

In one thing I can assure you that I never tender the feeling of dishonor to my opponent. But I am always firm on my opinion. When I place any matter for discussion I have study the matter as a whole and collect enough point in support of me. I feel happy when some one oppose me. But some time I have to restrict me because in argumentation some people think as personal attract and get irritated. I have the restrict to the point of the opponent but I have enough point to defend me. But in defending to I never leave the feeling of respect to my opponent.

for those who responded and view swimming as a hobby so be it same with those who view it as a fashion. now it matters how respondent defend their responses and for us to respect them. they may able to express their thoughts and feelings about their choice that for us is not enough and somehow lacking so be it...let's appreciate the effort that they made in responding and not be forced our own biases about the issue or let this discussion turn to argumentation. we are here for friendly discussion and not to be stressed out for something argumentative when in fact we can respect each own views and at the same learn from each other. we have our own cultural differences and values and anything that we share is in a way a reflection of it and of our experiences. So, personally i have no right to question anybody's opinion and strongly vouch my own views but i can always share my piece. accepted or unaccepted at least i was able to share without offending anybody but was able to handle things with care and respect.

To find from any discussion there must comes some argumentation. And if some one argue why it should be consider as dishonor. This is the exchange of view. You can't agree with me with your sufficient reasons. I think there is no place of dishonor. Is this should be considered as dishonor to stating some point in support of view?

With respect too we can argue in some matter.

I am not saying that arguing is somewhat giving the impression of dishonoring the person...for me mylot is a discussion site and not for people to argue on something. arguing is somewhat strong than discussing things in a friendly manner. we can always state our views the opposite of anybody's views but not to the point of being into an argument.

But if we want to please each other what needs of any topic we should do that without any topic too. I am very polite but look very tough for my straight forwardness. This argument I place here for my curiosity.Really I just want to know the view on the friendly discussion. I even think that there is no place for enmity of friendship on discussion. I think you are intended to keep aside the point I want to raise here. what woman wear in swimming is not the question here. She may wear swim suit what she like. It may be bikini too. But the fascinated use of the bikini is now not ignorable. What needs of wear a bikini top in the dancing by the singer is the question here. What intended them to do that. It is now look like that with out the bikini dance no celebrity singer can survive. What the meaning of of that. We here even hesitate to tell the word bikini. But what is now most commonly viewed scenario in the drawing room? Twisted body of bikini c laded girls singing top rating super hit song in the television skin. We can put aside our eye from that but the teenage can do that? Has there not any negative impact of the modern fashion?

Yes you are right that many of bikini loving girls are intended by body show. If you put your eyes to the latest style of bikini you will find that in some them you find nothing than a lace. You you will not find even inches of cloth there. I said it a fashion because it is used now most commonly in music videos. When the latest stylish bikini clad girl shows more than hide the body...Is not it used bow as fashionable way? You have said that you have not great body..that means if you had that will would showed in such way????

Personally, when I have the body for it (currently trying to lose weight) then I will wear one with pride - by a pool, or at the beach, not in the mall...lol...

For myself. Not for anyone else to look. But, after years of being 'the fat girl' and treated as invisible, if someone is looking it is because I am beautiful, and if I am wearing it in an appropriate place that is no reflection on MY morals.

But how fashion is running to day who can say that some girl will not move on the road or marketing in mal with a bikini top? Some time we have to think coming out of our own and to larger view too.
