What do you prefer - to wash clothes or to iron clothes?

I do always do my own laundry, and for my kids as well. I do iron them only some clothes that need to be iron only... other then that I just let it dry and it will not be wrinkle if I let it flat in the dryer. I hate to iron clothes the whole basket, are you kidding? lolz... I will be lazy if I heard that.
well, the washing part is easy but the folding part is hard.

I am not sure why washing your hands and then handling an iron would do anything. The iron we use here has a plastic cover though the plate for the ironing is metal I believe.

Hmm, I am not one that is a fan of ironing but I guess to be honest I've not ironed a lot so I guess I just have not got into the groove of it. I plan to iron, maybe having a schedule of ironing only on certain days...

As your question is wash or iron, I prefer to wash the clothes because I can use washing machine to get it done. One more thing I am not so skillful in ironing the washed clothes. Many people said, practice makes perfect, but it seemed just doesn't works very well for me.

I used to love to do the washing the clothes, and also
doing the ironing of the clothes too, as you have mentioned here
this two types of work is very important and also we have to do this
both work by our self and would not dependent others, so I used to love
this both jobs and still I am doing that without any help from anybody.
So as the young generation habits really worthy's and now helped us
to finish the work at the earliest in order to starts our work to have
the good journey in the life.

I only iron the*essential*, nothing more. I don't want to look bad when I go out, but I think most of the ironing people do is useless. I even knew someone who used to iron pantyhoses...
I definitely prefer washing, I find it's essential while ironing doesn't look essential to me.

I remember growing up all of the ironing that I did. I don't like ironing and for that reason I will not by anything made of 100% cotton because of the ironing factor. I would prefer washing clothes to ironing clothes any day.

I don't have any option... I have to do both because i'm a bachelor, but i don't like wash or iron. Washing clothes makes me very tired so i hate it. For getting my dress pressed I'll give them out.

I would rather do 10 loads of wash before I had to iron anything. I have never like to iron. I can remember my grandmother ironiong handkerchiefs for my grandfather. It looked like so much work. Maybe that's why I frown on ironing. I have a sister-in-law who is just the opposite about ironing. She irons every bit of her laundry. She loves to iron her clothes. Not me!

If I have some chances to make a choice between wash and iron, it is obvious that I prefer to wash the clothes other than ironing it.

In my eyes, washing clothes is a simple work while it is really a difficult task for me to iron the clothes. If there are not so unnoticeable crease or wrinkled on the cloth, I won't iron it, only when I can do nothing but to iron, I will iron it carefully.

Sometimes, ironing clothes may make the situation get worse. So, usually, I won't iron it with apparent ease.

I am glad that at a young age, I was forced to wash my own clothes. Even today, I do the washing at home for me and my kids. I am a single parent right now so there is no one to wash our clothes but me. I do the ironing of course but there are no clothes to iron if we don't wash it first. Therefore, it's washing clothes first before the ironing part.
