I heard from the entertainment news that super star Nicolas Cage is broke. He is in deep financial problem, and he definitely in need of fast money. Is it truth? According to newspaper quote "He spend most of his money on jet, pets, and new cars. He spent money like water, etc......"
Now, even they made big bucks from the entertainment industry, they should aware their financial sources is limited. Reckless spending eventually lead to bankruptcy. I simply felt sorry for those celebrities. They thought that they have all the wealth, and won't knowing the concept of saving, and smart investment.

Nicolas Cage, like alot of celebs and sports stars, don't stop and think before they spend! They act like money growes on trees! Now Cage is blaming his money woes on someone else! Most likely he can't face the truth and until he does he'll blame his manager or however this person is! I heard Cage spent money on excotic pets, like two cobras and a octopus! He had over 50 expensive cars! Real estate, like a castle over in Europe! Cage apparently had one of the largest comic book collections around, too! No wonder he is broke! You think other people, that are celebs, would see this and learn from it? It doesn't seem to be happening!

Hi clorissa
I hadn't heard that. I feel like in a way when it come those stars they should know better. It is a job like anything else and it too get end tomorrow. I wonder what he will do get out of his financial mess. If you would he could sell some things and live like the rest of us do. You know paycheck to paycheck. Have a great day and keep smiling.

Because those people have too much financial source available for them, they would spend them recklessly. They never keep track of their spending daily. Rather, they rely on someone else to handle their finance. One day, a letter notify them they default on some bills, they just wake up that he has no money in his saving account.

Oh yes that is right. They do have someone else taking care of their finances. I think if I was him I would start asking questions to the person who was taking care of his finances to see why and what happen. Keep smiling my friend.

Hi clorissa I don't follow any celebrity gossip but I like Cage as an actor and I'm suprised he's one of the Hollywood spenders. The first rule they should learn when they start to earn big is how to handle the money wisely and not just see it as a way to buy anything they want like a mad lottery winner. It sets a bad example to their young fans as well.

I don't see him as broke when he owns a bunch of houses and a couple of Islands. Having property like that he is by no means broke. He may have to learn how to invest a little better not to mention learn to save, but he is by no means broke. I wish I had his problems.

Well, I think he can still sell a dozen houses and his jet and get back on track.
Or maybe come here on mylot and start posting? lol
I don't feel sorry about him, he had the money, he used it. Ok, done. Now he is back with the NORMAL people.
I'm saying this for Nicolas Cage but I would say the same for any other celebrity.

Well, I think mylot is too small for Nicolas cage and other celebrities. We as small earners can only accomodate here. For big spending celebrities, that is nothing to their pennies. So, keep mylot here to ourselves.

Well he should have done some financial planning, considering he has a child to raise. I agree with the answer above that he should just sell off the stuff he spent his money on.

Who ever heard of keeping a pet octopus, did he have his own private bit of sea do you think?
