How Do I think look?

it's kind of both... there are people who look geeky and then there are geeks who are really smart... you can be both. look like a geek and be one... but i've known plenty of dumb people who looked like a geek... so it depends on the person i guess... your a geek in the smarts but that doesn't mean you look like one.. in less maybe you were glasses. lol not saying all people who wear glasses look geeky but it does add to that geeky look.. as a lot of geeks do wear glasses..

fantastic to one who loves him and after all doesnt that
count for something.I think a lot of the derogatory cracks
about geeks come from people too dumb to know much more than
how to tie their shoelaces and dig a can of beer out of the
fridge, and watch the 58th ball game of the day. brains really
do count.

Does it matter what people think about you? In reality it's about what you think of yourself. If you are happy with your looks, how you act/behave, what you believe in, and so forth that is all that matters.

However, in world of DC and Marvel I suppose we all fall into this trap of being worried about what others think. It is as if we are always in constant need of the approval of others.

In terms of being a "Geek" or "Geekette", I can't say we have the stereo-types any longer, really. I mean, I still remember when Revenge of the Nerds came out, and Weird Science. I think we all thought that was a true geek. Yet, I've got friends who make six figures designing games and they are far from that stereotype. Heh, even I wouldn't call them a "geek" just by sight if I didn't know them.

I think it's about what you know. A lot of time a person is tagged as a geek when they start showing there smarts ( I am a geek who can't spell he he ) more often than by how they look.

No it isn't about looks, i play basketball professionally, and i am a very athletic guy, and still i play a lot of video games, i know about c++ and i am learning programming, know a lot about ''geeky stuff'' as you said.
Well, you can say whatever you want, but being a geek is cool. I am proud of it
