What is the BEST BOOK you've ever read? |
|
I am quite a wide reader and novel-stories lover. I read anything wholesome and unadalterated ofcourse. I wonder if you can tell me some books you've already read. And hope I could find it in bookstores-because I'm totally running out of something to read. I prefer reading books which are already read by my friends-considering they have recommended it.

It's a trilogy. The first one is City of Bones. Second one is City of Ashes. And the third one is City of Glass. I have recommended it to three of my friends and they all liked it. We are actually starting a cult. Just kidding!

2. wlee9696 (346) | 3 weeks ago | Tale of two cities. My favorite book of all time. Followed closely by Gone with The Wind. I tend to love the classics. Some other favorites you could try are: Edgar Allen Poe Short Stories, The Great Gatsby, Taming of the Shrew, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Of Mice and Men, Slaughterhouse Five and the list goes on and on. Just do a search of top classics.

| 3. mtsarraga (22) | 3 weeks ago | It really depends what you're into. If you like young adult fiction, the Harry Potter and Twilight Series isn't as bad as the recent movies make it out to be. If you like historic romances, (my favorite genre, by the way) everything by Jane Austen will just leave you dreaming of fairy tale endings. Greek or Roman set novels are also pretty good. I love the ones by Caroline Dale Snedecker. My favorite is The Forgotten Daughter. The Lord of the Rings is always great for fantasy and science fiction. If you want a little more depth, Nicholas Sparks, Jodi Picoult, Audrey Niffeneger and Mitch Albom are authors that are full of it. If you like horror and suspense, I'm afraid I can't help you there.

| 4. sophistikitten (45) | 2 weeks ago | My favorite book is "The Stone Angel" by Margaret Lawrence. She was a writer from western Canada. It's a very sad story and a little dry, but very well written. Actually, any book from her "Manawaka" series of novels are excellent and are all tied together in one way or another.

5. Trensue (1205) | 1 week ago | Oh to have only one favorite. Mine change often and are often related to what I need in my life. I read a whole lot of different kinds of book. So tell us a little about yourself and see if we can find something that matches you. It is kind of like picking a pet.
