What are proxy websites?  |

 I was surfind the internet and what I found the term proxy website, I was stuck with this term. I don't know what does it mean really. And how to create the one, I mean what is the procedure?

For "hotshield" your IP Address appears to be based in the U.S only while "TOR" you can select any IP Addresses as you wished around the world. So if you want that you will be automous to everybody or mash your IP Address then these things can help you most.

These services are used usually for checking website downtime by using alternate IP, logging onto suspicious sites which offer cookies and some sites which are banned or some sites not accesible for egographical users.
You can use sites like t9space.com or annonymouse etc to try things out.

In your computer, it will show as if you are visiting the proxy website (that is really the reality) but inside the proxy website you are visiting another website. This is effectively used to access restricted sites placed by an administrator.
