1. LaurenInLA (865) | 3 weeks ago | Do not. Do not respond to this email and do not provide any personal information. This is a scam. Someone is trying to get personal information on your bank account to be able to take funds from your account. If you have concerns, CALL your bank and check to see whether or not they sent you this email. I'll bet you that this is a very common phishing scam. I get emails like this a couple of times a week and in general I don't even have accounts with most of the banks that are referenced.

| evelyntan (57) | 3 weeks ago | That's true - I've gotten a number of emails about my bank account in Barclays Bank. I don't live in UK and I certainly have no such account in a bank like that.

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at yahoo[.]com. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
I also check my paypal and Bank Account so far they are safe at the moment.

Do not even bother to open it. Cancel it and take no notice of it at all. Even more if you do not have an account there. It is just an attempt to get personal information.
Dump it into the trash can immediately!

6. StarBright (1129) | 3 weeks ago | Haha. I received the same junk telling me that attempts had been made on my Paypal account was therefore being restricted until I took action to remove the limitations. They even gave me a phony case number.
Of course, just like your scammers, they have a URL for you to click on so you can correct the problem. When I went to the Paypal site (outside the email - I was not about to click on any URLs they gave me) there was no place to put in a case number, and other information they gave was inconsistent with Paypal.
Does anyone fall for that baloney anymore? I forwarded my email to Paypal fraud department and then deleted it. I'm sure you did the same.

9. corrycrystal (846) | 3 weeks ago | Hi, Kent!
Just delete the email and don't click or follow any links or open another browser to sign in or sign up or whatever! I have received such emails before even when I have not opened any account with the sites or done any transaction at eBay. I have received a few emails with regards to the items either purchased or sold by me, which was so absurd because I never even have an account there.

10. msfrancisco9369 (1602) | 3 weeks ago | Kent, be very careful. Don't ever try to open it... it can totally damage your account. I have a friend who's working in China as one of the UN Volunteers-- his account was hacked and all of us his friends received a mail from him asking for money because he was kidnapped and there's a need for a ransom money. Details on how to go about the remittance via western union was on it. Good that i did not believe this though i am worried about him but later i received an email from him telling me about what happened to his account-- now he's using a new account because his old account was hacked.
