is it possible to live in this world, sticking only to truth?

Yeah I believe it's possible to live with no lies. But it's also impossible because I'm sure it's never done yet and doubt if everyone is capable.

Just about everyone tells those little social lies, as when somebody asks if we like their new outfit and we say we do, even if we don't. Other than those small savers of others' egos, though, we must try never to be dishonest. I've told people many times not to ask me questions if they don't really want to hear the truth. Not long ago, I spent an hour in conference with my principal, because he told us teachers we were too announce something to our students that isn't true. I finally told them that, although I wasn't thrilled to do so, I had to tell them...

I think it will be a better place if people do not lie and follow the truth blindly although I know that this is not possible. Maybe for a day it is possible; however, sometimes we are forced to lie because of circumstances. For example if you had a bad day and your mom asks you what happened, you are forced to say that everything is okay so that she would not worry.

Well, I won't lie to you: I do lie a lot. I'm sure that every human in the history of the world has lied at least once.
I think it may be possible to live a day without lying, but people will have to lie in some event.

So she gets upset when I say she looks fat in that dress,if she doesn't want to hear the truth, don't ask. If you don't want to lie, just don't answer. Failure to reply is not a lie. Take the 5th.

Telling lies have been mingled in day-to-day life of human. This is world is full of politics, there is no humanity among people. Every one is becoming selfish rarely we find hearten people. "Don't think I'm blaming everyone" we have to know how to tackle with nasty people, in such a situation if we need to tell a lie it is ultimately correct.
Now-a-days people wants to be clever not to be genuine...

Saying small lies like "you are very handsome" is harmless. That don't hurt anyone. But telling a lie that does harm to a person we can avoid. Living an honest and sincere life is not atall difficult in any age. Let the world go bad to any extent, it's a personal decision how we live, honest or dishonest. Leading an honest life is easier. We can face anyone without fear of being caught dishonest. Have a nice day.

I live most days without lying. Those days I do lie, it's usually to keep someone's feelings from being hurt, & I see no other way. Perhaps I need to learn silence, in place of "soothing" lies.... But, in general, I hate to lie, & I can't abide habitual liars.

I think fear causes people to lie, fear of what the other person will think, fear of hurting someone's feelings, fear of anger from the other person because they can't or won't accept the truth. But if we could learn to tell the truth in a kind way things wouldn't be so difficult. Besides, lying only gets you in trouble. It's so hard keeping up with lies.
