What happens if someone marks our response as best?

If someone marks my response as the best it feels great and happy.

That happened to me! It's pretty satisfaying!!! It's simple what happens, you get a higher rank into the interest and you win more money!!! I'm not quite sure of how much it is, it depends of your rank I guess. But try to always write the best answers possible so people feel satisfied about them and rank it up or down or even as a best answer! I always rate the responses of people on my discussion to encourage the discussion and to help out other MyLotters, you know, it's like a big family where you are there to encourage quality discussions and punish useless answers! So if you rate people answers as best reponse, you will help them out and if they rate yours, they will help you out! You can also add people to you friends, I usually rate more my friend's answers because I recognize their Avatar or their name! So RATE and WIN!! Good luck with your money making journey!

It does nothing but bring happiness to those that receive them, and gives pleasure to the ones that give them. I know I gain lots of pleasure being able to give a best responses to a discussion, but it can be hard at times as I do get more than one really good response, so I just read and reread them so that I can really give the best one. It would be nice if we could give more than one, but since we can't, I want to make sure, that just the right response gets it. When I get a best response, it lets me know that the user did read my resonse, and decided that I had the best one of all. I don't go into this hoping to get it every time as I know that won't happen, and that is okay, as I am not out to win a popularity contest either. I enjoy both getting and giving them. I was wondering of the same too, someone even suggested in a discussion that getting marked with a BR or best response could help increase your earnings, maybe even double your usual earnings when you post a comment on a discussion. but regardless if it is true or not, i get the bragging rights and the recognition of being able to provide the most valuable answer to a discussion is of most essential here.

You get good reputation rate and probably more money. The reason is that Mylot wants the answers to be of some great quality which surely impacts the reputation of the website as a whole and quality repliers start appearing which is a good thing for Mylot.
