I have made homade pickles. I like to make sweet pickels with some onion for spice. They are so good when you get the all done. I am not a fan of just a regular cucumber but when it's made into pickles they are great. I am not for the sour pickles they don't taste as good as the sweet pickles. What can I say I have a sweet tooth. I love sweet stuff. I can't help myself sometimes. When I make pickles I make alot of them at once. I give some away as little gifts. This way others can enjoy my homade pickles.

LOL! I remember the first time I tried to make polish style dill pickles! I was following the recipe and it called for a quarter of a jalapeno pepper! Well I'm going along and get to this point I thoght since they were so small the piece looked real tiny for a quart jar, so I threw in a half of one! LOL! Needless to say they were so hot!!! I couldn't eat them but had a good friend that loved them! So I gave them away! But got my jars back! wink tdemex

nice to meet you, I can every year you name it i have caned it. pickles are really good when you can them with love and care . you know how you can sweet pickles. try this one . I can bread and butter Squash pickles. they are so good.
